NOTABLE PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Soror Pinckney began her career as a licensed medical technologist before moving on to making and testing

beauty care products as a chemist for one of the world's most reputable companies.  After receiving her law degree,

she first worked in a prosecutor’s office and then transitioned into the government contracting industry.

She worked her way up to a senior-level executive before founding her own company,

HyQuest Consulting Solutions, LLC, where she currently serves as president and CEO.

Soror Pinckney also is founder and chairman of The OPHELIA Foundation,

a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established on the principle of helping others.  

Soror Pinckney was named one of Vera Bradley’s Women of Inspiration in 2021.

 

NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS CHAPTER PRESIDENT:

 During this administration, the Chapter held their Fall Retreat in 2018, completed a total redesign of the Chapter’s website, produced the Dance Challenge Video – Before I Let Go which has garnered over, transitioned the Chapter through COVID into a virtual environment, and established an endowed scholarship with NVDECS.  Soror Pinckney focused on getting to know each and every member of the Chapter through personal telephone calls, texts, home visits, meetings, and events—concentrating on the Delta Dears and highlighting the Past Presidents and introducing their Pearls of Wisdom.  Notable mention that the chapter donated over $13,500 to support International Awareness initiatives.

NEW PROGRAMS OR INITIATIVES IMPLEMENTED:

Under Soror Pinckney’s leadership, the following programs were initiated:  the Chaplains Council, the Delta Dear Committee, the PDLI Sister-to-Sister Mentorship Program, and the first ever “Pack and Give Event” supporting   

The Outreach Program.  Virtual technology was introduced in the Chapter.
