Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has a long history of involvement on the international stage, including the fight for human rights and development of infrastructure. The International Awareness and Involvement Committee educates the Chapter and the community on current and ongoing international issues. It serves as the key mouthpiece in raising awareness and involvement around global issues such as human rights, poverty, and water to name a few.

In the past this committee has donated to numerous local foundations and organizations in support of the sorority’s national program.
