Physical and Mental Health
As an organization of predominantly African American women, Delta Sigma Theta has positioned itself to not only for the well-being of its members, but also the well-being of families and communities at large. Our physical and mental health initiative was launched to educate and facilitate lifestyle change for the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of sorority members and the communities we serve.

The Physical and Mental Health committee raises awareness about the importance and benefits of lifestyle changes that affect longevity, morbidity, and mortality; identify organizational alliances for the sorority working to address pertinent health issues; and implement health-focused programs within Northern Virginia.
