NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS CHAPTER PRESIDENT:

 Under Soror Johns’ leadership, participation in regional and national Delta programs in projects increased.

NEW PROGRAMS OR INITIATIVES IMPLEMENTED:

 The Chapter began to focus on elderly care and adopted an integrated nursing home in the county.  Elder Action (ELDACT) became a new community initiative for the Chapter.  And NoVAC directed a big food basket drive for the city of Alexandria each year at Thanksgiving.

PRESIDENTIAL NUGGET TO IMPART ON NOVAC:

 Chapter members were encouraged to participate in local, state, and national elections.
