NOTABLE PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Soror White served in the following positions: 12th South Atlantic Regional Director, 1997-1999; Chair, National Constitution and Bylaws, 1992-1996; and Member, 1988-1992; Member, National Site Committee, 1988; Steering Committee for the 75th Anniversary, 1988; National Convention Planning Committee, 1994 and 1996.
NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS CHAPTER PRESIDENT:
In 1986, the chapter initiated 28 new members—A Strand of Pearls.

NEW PROGRAMS OR INITIATIVES IMPLEMENTED:
NoVAC’s major fundraiser was a trip to the Kennedy Center to see a dance troupe and the chapter held an awards reception titled “Women in Community Service.”
PRESIDENTIAL NUGGET TO IMPART ON NOVAC:
We have within our Sorority, the power to define our own future. We can do this only if we are willing to continuously build trust, work in a collaborative manner, affirm our self-image, and appreciate our diversity. We must share our talents and blessings with others as we work to build a just and compassionate world.
