COMMUNITY
Programs
The Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter (NoVAC) strives to directly impact the communities in which we live and serve. Throughout the year, various projects are customized for each of the cities within the Northern Virginia region. Our goal is to ensure that we don’t just exist in our communities, but that we also have a positive impact to influence the Northern Virginia area.
Examples of these projects are:
o Adopt A Block
o Volunteering at local food pantries
o Serving meals at homeless shelters
o Supporting local domestic violence shelters
o Caroling and toiletry drives at senior homes
o Thanksgiving baskets for families in need
o Christmas toy drives for needy children
o Project Esther
