Greetings Sorors & Friends!

It is a privilege and honor to greet you and welcome you to our website! On behalf of the members of the Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter (NoVAC), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I extend a heartfelt “thank you” and my sincerest gratitude for your ongoing support.

The Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter was chartered on May 17, 1959, and has been serving the Northern Virginia area for over 57 years. We are a sisterhood of nearly 400 women who remain dedicated to providing stellar programming, activities, and scholarships to residents in Arlington, Alexandria, the City of Falls Church, and the City of Fairfax.

We are an award-winning chapter, committed to the vision of the 22 illustrious Founders of a sisterhood. We remain steadfast, devoted, guided by scholarship and public service, and rooted in Christian principles. To all of our supporters, thank you for your continued generosity and support over the years. We truly appreciate the significant role you play in making our scholarship and community service programs a success.

I encourage you to continue to support our programs that are based on Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust:

o Economic Development
o Educational Development
o International Awareness and Involvement
o Physical and Mental Health
o Political Awareness and Involvement

We are now on the brink of new day in Delta Sigma Theta… the beginning of a second century of leadership and service in the community and our nation. We, the members of NoVAC, have positioned ourselves at the forefront of developing technological practices, stellar leadership, impactful service, and have demonstrated our commitment to scholarship in our communities.

If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and are looking for a chapter to join, I encourage you to visit with us at a chapter meeting and/or an event. Please take some time to peruse the website for more information about our chapter. Should you have additional comments or questions, feel free to contact me directly. In the interim, please visit with us again for more information about future chapter activities and events.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website!

Yours in Sisterhood and Service,
